Nickname: DJ Jason
Date of Birth: December 2, 1981
Place of Birth: Tacoma, Washington
Years DJing: 8 years

Other Experience: I am a firefighter EMT reserve and I love EVERY MINUTE of it!!! I have been doing that for 10 years now and it’s one of the greatest feelings in the world to be able to turn a bad situation into a good one. I have covered most major fires around California during wild and season, including: Butte County, San Diego, Los Angles, and Malibu. I’ve been in structure fires, major accidents, and many medicals. Another passion of mine is cooking, which I have been doing passionately for 12+ years. I can cook just about anything!

Favorite Moment DJing: The greatest moment I’ve had so far in my DJ career was at a wedding. I had made a special mix for a father-daughter dance prior to the wedding day. They both started dancing to the song “Dance with my Father” by Luther Vandross. Then the song transitioned flawlessly into “Soldier Boy,” the “Dougie,” and then finished off with “Apache” (Jump on It) by Sugar Hill Gang. It made for a VERY MEMORABLE first dance. The dance party was high energy ALL NIGHT!!! Another great moment for me was DJing a High School dance for over 500 teenage students and dropping that one song that got the students hyped up!!!! I thought the stage was going to collapse due to all the students dancing and having a blast!

Favorite Songs: This is a hard one because I like so many songs but some of my favorites are: Kid Ink “Feat,” Chris Brown “Show Me,” Avicii “Wake Me Up,” Drake “Hold On We’re Going Home,” and any Afrojack or Armin Van Buuren songs. I also like “Amazed” by Lonestar, “It’s Your Love” by Tim McGraw & Faith Hill, and “Pony” by Ginuwine to name a few.

Favorite Event to DJ: Weddings and dances

Activities/Hobbies Outside of DJing: I love to spend time with my wife and family, watch my nephews and nieces play sports, workout, go hiking, Play PS3, and take road trips to new places.

Talents: I can cook pretty much any type of food. All I need is an idea and my knife bag with my tools and… Bon Appétit!
