For the last 14 years I have been in management for several different companies around the country. All centered around events and hospitality.

Favorite DJ Moment:
The one moment I always think of, happened many years ago in New Jersey. The bride and groom wanted a special ending to their big day, to thank all of their guests and to say goodbye. I had a great report with the couple so they gave me some latitude to come up with the ending myself. What I came up with was to have every one of the guests form a circle around the dance floor. As I made the announcement I began playing Joe Cocker’s (who the couple loved) live version of “With a Little help from my friends”. They were able to say goodbye to each of their guests during the 9 minute song and everyone was elated. After the goodbyes the bride and groom approached me and with tears in their eyes thanked me and said how much that ending meant to them and how appreciative they were to me. It was then that I realized how important it is to know your client and to personalize and internalize each event. That day was special because I got to know the couple as people and not just as clients and that understanding sticks with me to this day.
