Favorite Moment DJing: It’s a tie. My first favorite moment was the hug that I received from a bride after the first wedding I ever DJed on my own. I remember it was such a beautiful night at the Monterey Plaza Hotel, with the moon rising over the bay. It was a fantastic reception and I’ll never forget it. My second favorite moment was getting to DJ my best friend’s wedding in front of his family and all our friends. That was a fun wedding!
Favorite Songs: This is a tough question. I have so many favorite songs. However, when I DJ, my favorite song is the one that gets everyone packed on the dance floor having a great time.
Favorite Event to DJ: Weddings, of course, are the most memorable, but they’re all fun.
Activities/Hobbies Outside of DJing: I’m passionate about music. I love to play/write/record music, by myself, with other individuals, or in bands. I love playing with my dogs Tucker and Ruby. I’m a nursing student at Monterey Peninsula College and look forward to a career in the medical field (while still DJing weddings of course!). I also love to play golf as often as possible.
Other Talents: I can play an array of instruments including the guitar (for almost 20 years), piano, drums/percussion, bass guitar, banjo, harmonica, and most recently, the harp. I have been fortunate enough to play in several bands. I have also recorded several solo CDs in my own home studio, playing every instrument on the album. I speak Spanish, am a licensed E.M.T., and most importantly I can do a back flip anytime, anywhere.
